It's been a long time since Alun-Alun Tayu crowded. Last time, maybe around one year ago in January 2020, Alun-Alun Tayu still became a popular place to hang out with friends. In here, you can find any kind of food, from the main course to snacks. You can also find various sellers or just playing around with many games which family-friendly.

Alun-Alun Tayu used to be a favorite place for gathering until midnight. Sadly, since the COVID outbreak, this place is quite deserted. Because of the new regulation in this town, most of the sellers must close their shop at 8 p.m. This regulation made me a little bit lonely since I wanted to eat many things that only available in Tayu such as Bandeng Presto and Nasi Gandul. But, it is for everyone's health, so I cannot blame the authority.
